Las Cañadas – the spell of the Teide
We cross the impressive lava landscape of the Cañadas at 2200 m altitude, a bizarre tableland with its unique and highly specialized flora around the highest mountain in Spain, the Teide. Imposing, exposed by erosion opened rock formations stamp here the landscape and give us an insight into the geological formation of Tenerife-island.
Under the motto "Close to the sky" we go twice a week (Wednesday and Sunday) from the mountain station (2600 m) up to the top of the Teide.
We need the number of your identity card at least 6 days before (49,- € + cable car).
