Anaga-Mountains – through the laurel forest
of Las Mercedes
On a bend rich pilgrim we walk through the evergreen rainforest of Las Mercedes. Magnificent giant fern and deep green moss, down hanging twist and a variety of endemic tree species characterize this beautiful fog forest. Over a scenic elevated track passing country villages which are terraced and fitted into the landscape we stroll from Chinamada to a little hamlet with a unique bar, overlooking the caves of Chinamada.
